Hi everyone! My name is Julia and I love to knit with crotch and to share with ma fun mood trough my work with all of you!) On this page are posted my works which you can adore, show to your friends, to order and buy them. :)
ami-nami is a complex of two words. Ami is abbriveation of "amigurumi" and nami is one of variations how to write name Julia in Japanese.
Amigurumi is Japanese art to knit or crotch small toys, fluffy animals or humanoid creatures.
On the photo from left to right is: my husband, Smirka and myself at the UniCon, the first Comicon based convention in Baltic countries. There you can meet me and touch my toys in real life and whats more important to talk to me :)
A bit of specificity
Now i live near Riga but thank to miracles of post your ordered toys i can send you almost to every point of planet. The cost of postage is quite normal, about 5 Euros, but the postage varies on toys count and total weight. Any toy i can reproduce countless times in every color, upgrade any toy as you please. I am also always opened for your advices or ideas, dont be shy to write =)
Materials for work
All toys are made by me with all of my heart. I use such materials as cotton, acril, wool, polyester etc. The fillment is holofeitx(100% polyester), it maintains the shape and doesnt being afraid of water.
